Dr. Christian Birkedal
An innovative and caring doctor with over 15 years of medical experience, Dr. Birkedal grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. After completing his B.S. degree in biochemistry at Florida State University, he received his M.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
While there, Dr. Birkedal was awarded the Tinsley-Harrison Scholarship for academic performance and also the Gross Anatomy Instructor Honor for academic performance, leadership and teaching ability. After graduating, he completed his surgical residency at the Baptist Health System in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Birkedal is Board Certified in General Surgery.
Prior to joining Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Dr. Birkedal served as the medical director of the Wound Treatment Center and as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee.
He has presented internationally on several topics, including “Biopsy Fragment Supernates: A New Modality for the Rapid Diagnosis of Lung Cancer” and has written chapters for the Emedicine Textbook of Surgery.
Dr. Jorge Bordenave
Dr. Jorge Bordenave, MD, has an impressive background in both traditional medicine and also in integrative medical approaches. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Bordenave completed no less than three residency training programs in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Integrative Medicine.
His extensive academic training, years of clinical practice & studies for a healthcare MBA have taught him that there are gaps in conventional medical care that can be filled by the individualization of medical care & use of integrative medicine. Dr. Bordenave has been in private practice since 1993, first at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and now in Coral Gables, Florida. Mr. Dickinson has over 27 years of experience in the practice of public accounting. He has extensive knowledge in the fields of individual and corporate taxation, financial reporting, and accounting information systems. Andrew C. Grant

Andrew C. Grant received his B.A. degree from Truman State University in 1992 and his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University in 1998. Andrew went on to get a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Florida in 2001.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Grant served as a judicial law clerk in the state of Minnesota. In 2000 he and his wife, Carol, moved to Florida where he attended the University of Florida’s prestigious Master of Laws in Taxation program.
He has been practicing law in the Daytona-Ormond-Palm Coast area for the past 12 years. Andrew became Board Certified in tax law in 2007. He is also a founding member of Business League Network, where he continues to serve on the board.
Wendy A. Mara
Wendy A. Mara attended Stetson University where she was selected for Phi Beta Kappa, widely considered to be the nation’s most prestigious honor society. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1993, Ms. Mara taught language arts in high school for 13 years. While teaching full time, she earned her MBA degree from the University of Central Florida in 2006. During her time in graduate school, she was selected for membership in Phi Kappa Phi, another of the nation’s most prestigious honor societies.
Deciding to pursue a legal career, she entered law school at Florida Coastal School of Law where she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. While in law school, she was a teaching and research assistant, earned the Dean’s Certificate for Pro Bono Work and became an award winning oralist for the Jessup International Moot Court Competition. Following graduation from law school, she was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009 and entered the private practice of law in the Ormond Beach-Volusia County area.
Mrs. Mara’s law practice is centered on family and domestic law, probate and wills, guardianship and business matters. During her legal career, she has been recognized by her peers as a leader in the profession. She is a former treasurer and immediate Past President of the Volusia-Flagler Association for Women Lawyers. After earning several associate degrees from Miami Dade College, Mr. Cantillo was involved in starting and managing several physician network companies. Kevin S. Dulany
Mr. Kevin S. Dulany is the vice president of Axiom Administrative Services. Kevin served 20 years in the United States Navy as an Intelligence Specialist, where he first became interested in web design. After retiring from the Navy, he moved his family to his wife’s native country of Spain, where he taught English to business professionals.
After eight years of living abroad, he decided to finally pursue his dream of becoming a web designer. Kevin has recently graduated with an Associate of Science degree from the Internet Services Technology program at Daytona State College.
